The Snell Group invites infrared thermographers, motor circuit analysis technicians and reliability leaders to share their case studies and success stories by presenting a paper at the Thermal Solutions & Motor Solutions conferences in 2009.

Those who are interested should write a brief summary of their topic (100-200 words) and submit it for review by the conference steering committee.

Papers are sought in the following areas:

The application of Infrared Thermography to:

Electrical systems, mechanical equipment, weatherization and building diagnostics, moisture detection, roof surveys, program management and other related case studies.

The application of Motor Circuit Analysis to:

Motor management, motor construction, acceptance testing, energized and de-energized motor testing, alternative motor and motor circuit testing methods.

All papers must be non-commercial in nature and will be published in the Thermal Solutions & Motor Solutions conference proceedings. Authors will be notified as to whether or not abstracts have been accepted. Written papers must be completed approximately six weeks prior to the conference. In addition, a short electronic presentation, typically PowerPoint, will be required prior to the conference to illustrate the written paper. To compensate presenters, a discounted conference attendance fee is available to all accepted authors.
